Role: SAP Analytics Architect

Role Overview

This role will require at least 5 years’ experience in the area of SAP Analytics. The candidate should have an in depth knowledge of Business Warehouse including BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud and BusinessObjects. The candidate should have experience of the implementation of these products, not just the support of them. The role itself will be a travelling role in that you will be expected to travel to client site up to five days per week offering all types of consultancy e.g. upgrade, change, projects and support.

Main Aim of Role

To provide consultancy to Advis Global client base in the Business Analytics area.

Duties and Responsibilities

Support and assist with functional projects and assignments in domain of expertise

Prepare and contribute to the process design workshops, definition of business process procedures, system configuration, solution demonstration and gain acceptance from the customer

Creation of estimate for work packages and contribute to tenders

Conduct customer demos in domain of expertise

Lead the preparation of test scenarios, end-user documentation, and user manuals

Managing delivery of customer solutions

Keep abreast of new technologies and products from SAP

Essential Skills and Competencies

Ability to interpret customer requirements and turn into an estimated technical solution

Data Modelling design

Functional ECC knowledge from an extractor perspective

Experience of ETL from SAP and Non-SAP data sources

SAP BW Data Modelling (LSA and LSA+)

SAP BW Query Designer

S/4HANA Embedded Analytics

SAP Analytics Cloud

ABAP (to an adequate BW level)

Creation of technical estimates

Working knowledge and experience of the BusinessObjects toolset

o Web Intelligence

o Design Studio

o Analysis

BW Upgrade to BW/4HANA Experience (Desirable)
